A cold New Year’s Day. The St-Lawrence River is a huge body of water but even so, come the cold weather of January and it freezes over from bank to bank and stays that way for a good three months. The freezing process started today in the bay at Baie-D’Urfé. This view was taken towards dusk which somewhat magnifies the “coldness” of the light.
