Sunset with Geese

4:15pm in the bay at Baie-D’UrfĂ© – a set of four images instead of the usual singleton The Geese are in the shadows across the bay – about 150 of them Aperture: ƒ/7.1 Camera: ILCE-7M2 Focal length: 24mm ISO: 100 Shutter speed: 1/200s

Too hot today …

It’s a very hot day today requiring all activities to be done in the shade … haven’t done any digiscoping for a couple of years so thought to get my hand in again. This was taken through a Swarovski spotting scope instead of a regular camera lens. Camera: NEX-7 ISO: 800 Shutter speed: 1/800s

Northern Pintails

These beautiful ducks were making use of a flooded field just east of the arboretum – photographed from quite a distance as they are very nervous.
